Good To Know
Overall this is a fun course of putt putt with some challenging shots along the way. Be prepared to ascend and descend some rather steep stairs. This course is definitely not wheel chair assessable. Where this attraction lost points with me was the cleanliness of the outdoor carpet and the maintenance of the course, both of which could stand some improvement.
Before leaving Gatlinburg, my husband and I decided to swing by this putt putt place and have a game. We have visited this place several times and enjoy the courses. One of the courses was closed for repair/maintenance, so that put all playing one course and the wait times were significant. Still, not being in any hurry, we were having a good time. The cost is a bit much, but then, it is Gatlinburg, a tourist town, and the cost to do most anything is pricey. My issue came at the last hole, where if make a hole in one, you win a free game. I won a free game, but rather than go around again, we decided to get on the road. A couple with children was coming in so I offered the freebie to them, hoping to save others a bit. The lady at the counter told me that wasn't allowed, but that I could use it for up to one year. Not cool! Unless you are extremely organized, or planning on a return trip in the very near future, the chance of anyone hanging onto the ticket that had to be presented for the free game, is remote at best. Yes, yet again, a company has found a way to milk the public for every dime it can squeeze from them. I hope this business re-examines that policy and if stating "Win a Free Game with a Hole in One", truly honors such by allowing the freebie to be donated to someone else.
We tried this one after we did the Old Macdonald mini-golf in Pigeon Forge. This one was pretty from the outside but had many torn greens and missing materials. The paint on the attractions was faded and chipped. The trees were beautiful and the landscaping was very natural. That's why I gave it 3 stars. We would not return to this one unless they did renovations.
This was the best course that we visited during our trip. This includes Firehouse Golf and Professor Hackers. Well worth your time. I wish we had this in St. Louis.
